2025 Regulations are online, as well as the application page for teams and the application page for volunteers, as well as information on the sought profiles.
You can apply by 8 November at the latest; but applying before 15 October maximizes your chances. And informing the Administrator of the Competition before 30 September of your intention to apply also increases the likelihood of your team being selected.
Anglophone teams can apply to the 45th edition in Türkiye, or to the 47th edition in Indonesia, or to both. When they apply to both, they can indicate their preference. This being said, the approach of the organisers is to maximise the number of teams, although a maximum number of teams is set for each edition. As a result, teams should be cautious in applying for one edition only, since this may result in a non-selection, if the application file is not amongst the best ones.
Teams' attention is drawn to the fact that the Competition selection process does not seek to assess the teams' ability to use artificial intelligence tools, but their ability to think for themselves, hence the importance of using such tools with great caution. The Competition organizers reserve the right to subject certain teams to a video interview, if the examination of their file justifies it (article 6 of the Rules).
